Question by Gregory H: What makes you buy from a certain car dealership?
I want to hear from the customer about the buying experience. I have been on the selling side of the car business for to long I forget what it was like to be on the buying side again. I am a manager of a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep dealership. I really want to hear from the people that buy or are interested in used vehicles. What makes one dealership stand out? What makes you buy? 1) if you are treated right a the dealer.
2) I have gone to a dealer and wanted to buy a Jeep Wrangler (new) they were not willing to discount the price of the jeep, but were offering me 4000 below kbb for my car. I walked out insulted and will never go back to that dealer again.
3) good service and a fair price.
4) honest service.
I bought a ford truck(new) which came with tires for life, great incentive to buy there. Only to find out that your tires needed to be almost absent of tread to get your new tires. So that great incentive was worth squat. never go back to that dealer.
5) sales people that are at a dealership for a while and remember you when you return.
6) Do not tell your customer that you will have to wholesale the car that they are trading in and have it sittling on your lot the day later. You are insulting the customer and are not being honest.

Question by prolly: Can a car dealer request to change car after financing approved and contract signed?
I recently purchased a car. After a few weeks of getting everything in to get financing approved the dealer has now called and said that the APR was a promotion for a 2007 model and they sold me a 2008. Do I have to sign a new contract and change cars after the financing has been approved and the contract has been signed?
Thanks so much…I do have possession of the car and I am currently at school 200 miles from the dealership and they want me to come back to sign these new papers…they didn’t even want to tell me what I was signing papers until I continued to ask my reason for coming 200 miles.

No, I think it is time to report what is called “Bait and switch” to the appropriate authorities.
The dealer pulled pulling a switch on you after they baited you (and sunk the hook real good).
If this happened to me I would just call the deal off and look for an honest dealer, this one is not.

Look in junk yards for a 73 caddie. But in Fl. it may have alot of rust.
