Question by chief03fau: Car dealership paid off my trade in accidentally. What should I do?
I tried to purchase a vehicle from a dealership but the deal didn’t go through. I took back the vehicle and they returned my trade in to me. However the dealership paid off my trade in. It has been 2 months and they have just realized there mistake. The dealership now wants to restart the loan with the old loan company. I contacted the loan company and there records indicate that the car is paid off and they have nothing to do with the situation anymore. I’ve heard two different stories from the dealership and the loan company. I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions?

If you have the title then it is your car. Act fast before the dealership tries to gets it hands on it. Call the loan company and ask for title/payoff letter. Get on phone now !!!

If I paid your mortgage off and the loan company sent you the deed, it would be your house right?

Question by danny: what is the best way to fight a car dealership that has scammed you?
lets say you have been scammed by a used car dealership,what is the best and most affective way to handle the situation.who do you report the problem to?

For criminal acts, file a police report and a complaint with the BBB to warn others. Sometimes merely a cordial but persuasive letter from an attorney’s office will motivate a scammer to set things straight.

Is it possible to go to a dealership and purchase a new car with my amercian express card? I have more than enough credit. Or is it possible to buy it cash?

Question by Matt: What would be the average monthly price for oil for a car dealership?
Im creating a car company and i need to know what the average monthly cost would be for oil for the dealership. what would it cost?

Impossible to predict. How big a dealership, how many repair bays, how many customers per month? Will you be doing oil changes also? How many per month? What grade(s) the type(s) of oil will you need? Do you plan to buy in bulk? I get mine in 55 gallon drums a lot cheaper than by the quart. I have 5w 30 and 10w 30 which covers 95% if what I need. The other 5% I buy by the gallon, Rotella and various brand names.

I’m 16 years old, and I think it’d be cool to work at Volkswagon Car Dealership. How old do you have to be? And if I can work there, how much would I get paid?

There’s no age limit, my friend worked as a salesman at a car dealer when I was in high school. It’s all a function of maturity, knowledge and interpersonal skills.

I’m not familiar with the wage scale but it’s sufficient to make it a career.

Question by judy06: Can i break the purchase contract with the car dealership?
I signed the purchase contract with the car dealership today. I went home and check the price with all other local dealership, the price was way too expensive. Can i break the contract ?

The payment agreement is not yet established, so i have no clues how the interest rate and everything will go.
They rush me to do all the paper work and drive the car off the lot. They want me to bring in a check for them tomorrow.

if its a new car you may be out of luck. try renegotiating with them. customer satisfaction is important.
